Nature as backdrop
I am lucky enough to be secluded in nature during quarantine, in a country that has three and a half cows per human being, wondering around in the landscape. But I am a city person. I like to shoot in a studio setting. How can one continue with the artistic practice, be true to one's visual language while being stuck in the woods, isolated, and with no one around?
I decided to take the studio outside, and treat it as my main subject. This daily ritual of photographing the studio itself transformed nature into my backdrop. Will I ever go back to the city again?
